What 5.6' Water Gage Looks Like

These pictures are taken at a USGS Water Gage height of 5.6'. Notice that the river is at the bank height (south side) and over the bank (north side) and flowing north-west direction. The actual La Russell Access Point is not visible.

You can see that the north side of the river in not assessable at 5.6'. There is erosion of the base rock evident around the bridge pier supports north of the river, due to flooding

I've been seeing similar views for two weeks. Spring River in Oklahoma at Hwy 10 is not accessible. We have not done any testing.

I've been seeing similar sights for two weeks. Grand Lake is so full Spring River is barely flowing in Oklahoma. We have not done any testing for a while.

Not really a comment. Just trying to get in touch with someone. I found this site while trying to do some research on the Spring River. It's very informative. We're fairly new to the area and were looking for a place close to home where we could do some canoeing and kayaking. Based on our location we were considering the La Russell Access as a take out point. I'm basically looking for input how the river would be for our intended uses. We did visit the access a couple nights ago. It's a lot nicer(and cleaner) than most other MDC accesses.
