Hello LaRussell, Bowers Mill and Spring River in Jasper, Missouri. My name is Barbara Mepham-Cervantes, and my family use to live in LaRussell back in the late 50's and early 60's. I'm so happy to see all the good work everybody is doing to clean up Spring River and to keep it clean. We use to swim and fish there as kids, but it always bothered me that people used the river as a public dump in those days. So glad to see it beautiful. WTG Bill and Jean Campbell and everybody else involved. Looks like a new bridge is there now. Hope the old bridge is still there in Bowers Mill. I remember Shorty Shouse's family were probably the only people we knew who lived in Bowers Mill. Shorty had a gas station in LaRussell near the well in the middle of Main Street. Good memories. Keep up the good job!
