2009 Accomplishments

La Russell Stream Team #2945 is proud of their 2009 accomplishments. Thank you for your help in making all of this happen! Accomplishments in 2009 have included:


1. Renewed adoption of La Russell Assess Point No 6812 on Spring River
2. Planted 25 witch hazel seedlings
3. Completed six water quality chemistry surveys
4. Grew Stream Team #2945 to thirty-nine registered members
5. Maintained this website, 44-posts
6. Submitted 50 Stream Team Activity reports, representing 150+ volunteer hours
7. Met with the Missouri State Stream Team Coordinator (from Jefferson City)
8. Helped facilitate repair and replacement of signage identifying the La Russell Access Point to visitors
9. Helped disseminate weekly bacteria results (Jasper County Health Department) on the website
10. Helped promote the site's USGS water gage information on the website
11. Provided Missouri and La Russell Stream Team #2945 information at 29th Annual La Russell-Bowers Mill Reunion picnic
12. Represented La Russell Stream Team #2945 at two Regional Stream Team Summits
