Vandalism on the site...why?

Members of La Russell Stream Team #2945 recently discovered vandalism along the river bank. Someone has cut down the 15' willow at the access point that provides stream bank stability. This species plays a critical role in the riparian corridor in managing erosion. If you have information about the perpetrator, please call Jasper County Sheriff Department at 911 or 417-358-8177. This vandalism affects all of the guests to the site. It is an ugly reminder of vandalism.

New Signage

The La Russell Stream Team #2945 thanks our partners with the Missouri Department of Conservation for replacing the La Russell Access Point Bulletin Board that was lost in the flood on March 18, 2008. We will use the bulletin board to post water quality information, including bacteria test results.
